Drained are already cost 1 energy upkeep and has no strong natural abilities, making them Indentured and buffing them this way is pretty eeh… Dvar, Amazon, Kir’ko has no synergy at all. Personally I don’t like Syndicate-Heritor combo as it’s pretty stupid. Tier 4 would be Assembly, only because of Research boost through Doctrine, has no usefull mods for Heritor outside of Arc Weapon group. Tier 3 would be Vanguard, because of Brimstone Missile Array mod for Drained and Syphoner combo with t3-t4 Vanguards units, only tier 3 because no Early-mid game synergies (and still not many mods to buff % damage for drained), and actually that’s combo where you heavily invest in Racial Tech tree first, and than Heritor. My subjective tier 2 is Shakarn because of Sono Grenades( after you equip Sono Grenade you can slap ALL Sonic weapon tech mods, making devastating combos with Reverb and cutting Damage resistance ) for Drained, Assault Exo Skeletons for High Lords and support of racial floating /flying t3 units. The tier 1 race for Heritor is Oathbound that gives huge Entropy damage boost for all Heritor units + Maxwell Puzzle Box which is best weapon tech mod among everything else. ![]() ![]() The key strategy of Heritor is army of Immortal drained, and you need mod this army properly. Heritor is actually heavily reliant on Race bonuses and synergy, if you aren’t seeing any it doesn’t mean there are no synergy. ![]() But I hate Xenoplague because of babysitting pustules awaiting their evolution, and I won’t even mention spawn mechanics. Heritor is similar to Xenoplague (But which works normally and not stupid RNG) where you mostly accumulate power from this Secret Tech at start, and returns to your main race later. ![]()
